Greetings, and welcome to the fifth video in this module on emotion regulation. Let’s continue our garden analogy.

In a real garden, we not only need to plant the right seeds and do some weeding, we also need to make sure our plants are grounded in the right soil. Once again, the same concept applies to our emotions. In order to have healthy, stable emotions, we also need to be grounded in the correct information. So let’s check that soil.

Okay. So In this video, we will learn 10 basic questions to help our clients become more grounded in the correct information. So the first question is, what are the facts of the situation right? So It’s important to identify what you know as absolute fact as opposed to conjecture, right. It’s important to make that distinction, because we all know what happens when we assume.
