Greetings, and welcome to the final video in this module and, indeed, the final video of the entire course. So this brings us to the end of the course but not to the end of trauma-focused DBT. In fact, this is just the beginning. So In this video, I would like to briefly introduce some additional resources for you, to take your journey with TF-DBT even further.

So first of all, I’d like to point out some additional resources that are available right here on Psychotherapy Academy. So For example, there is a TF-DBT case presentation that’s available, in which many of the skills that are discussed throughout this course are exemplified via a case scenario. So I highly recommend you check that out. In addition, also available right here on Psychotherapy Academy, there is a DBT Expert Interview series in which a series of experts on on specific DBT specialties are interviewed, in particular on the following topics: DBT for trauma, DBT for bipolar, DBT for psychosis, DBT for eating disorders, DBT for chronic pain, DBT for substance disorders, and DBT for adolescents.

So the reason I am recommending this series so highly is because, as you know, and as we’ve learned in this course, when you work with someone that’s been traumatized you are probably going to come across these various other issues as well. Why? Because as we’ve already learned, trauma is highly comorbid. It’s highly correlated with symptoms of other disorders. They go hand in hand. So In particular, the, the interview on trauma, DBT for trauma, is actually a really good summary of this entire course. But in addition, you will hear from a variety of experts who specialize in DBT, in fact, who specialize in specific populations to which DBT can be applied. You will learn a lot about how to nuance and fine-tune your DBT skills, specifically when you're dealing with some of these other disorders and populations.
