Greetings, and welcome to the third video in this module. In this lesson, we will introduce the concept of radical acceptance. So, let’s get started.

In order to cope effectively, you first need to have a proper coping mindset. At its core, radical acceptance has to do with learning to see something as it is, no more and no less.

Remember, people who have been traumatized are stuck at the extremes. Individuals who have been traumatized will tend to see things as either much better or much worse than they actually are. That’s why radical acceptance is all about learning to see something just how it is.
