This module has covered the two ACT processes of self-as-context and values.

Self-as-context is being aware that we are the ones who contain and look at our private experience. Self-as-context allows individuals to connect with the constant aspects of themselves that is separate from the internal experiences and concepts they hold.

And in particular, self-as-context can be a freeing experience for those with OCD as they often hold the belief that the content of their thoughts and simply having their thoughts is a reflection of themselves. This allows them to detach from that idea even further.
