Presenter: Michelle Woidneck, Ph.D.

Dr. Michelle Woidneck is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed doctoral training at Utah State University under the mentorship of Dr. Mike Twohig, carrying out extensive research and treatment in the areas of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and posttraumatic stress, particularly in adolescents. She worked at the Nebraska Consortium of the Boys Town Behavioral Health Clinic for her predoctoral internship, postdoctoral work, and then as a staff psychologist.

Dr. Woidneck supervised and trained predoctoral interns, and received extensive training in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), becoming a peer-reviewed ACT trainer. She moved into private practice in January 2020. In this presentation, she explores a case from an ACT perspective to provide exemplars for the clinical practice of others.
