Dr. Angela Wood, a clinical social worker, holds a Ph.D. in social work from Tulane University. She is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, an international organization founded by Bill Miller and Stephen Rollnick. Dr. Wood's expertise spans across addictions, family preservation, juvenile justice, and criminal justice.

During her doctoral studies at Tulane University, Dr. Wood was introduced to motivational interviewing. She received training from a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers in 2003. Since 2005, Dr. Wood has been imparting her knowledge in this area to professionals and paraprofessionals.
