The OCD Tracking Form

At the end of session 5 or the session where you covered defusion, sometimes clients can feel and that's okay.

The OCD Tracking Form

If they're feeling confused, I tend to focus more on the second part of defusion, the separation between internal experiences and their behavior simply because that one can be a lot easier to separate out or to understand for clients. And if the other one doesn't feel like it quite clicked yet, that's okay. You can always come back to it later.

And I often find that clients after they practice this at home they start to get a sense of it more so than they may have in session if they didn't have this amazing aha moment in session like we all love to get but doesn't always happen.
