Meet Your Instructor: Kristen Galloway, Ph.D.

Kristen Galloway, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D). She provides outpatient services to adolescents, adults, and their families at Baptist Behavioral Health. She is part of the dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) team, providing consultation, teaching, and therapeutic services.

Dr. Galloway earned her doctoral degree in School Psychology from Louisiana State University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral training with the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults with a range of behavioral and emotional difficulties, specifically self-harm/suicidal ideation, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, social media concerns, emotional dysregulation, conduct problems, and family conflict.

Dr. Galloway has been involved in a variety of forums, including blogs, interviews, conference presentations, outreach, and social media, to discuss issues regarding social media, technology, culture, anxiety, self-care, DBT, and emotional dysregulation, to disseminate information and promote evidence-based treatments.
