Through a comprehensive approach, ACT fosters mindfulness, reduces experiential avoidance, and encourages clients to take meaningful, value-based actions aligned with their authentic selves. The course delves into essential ACT techniques such as defusion, self-as-context, and committed action, helping transgender clients unhook from unhelpful thoughts, enhancing body awareness, and cultivating self-acceptance.
